Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Snugdoro collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Snugdoro app.

1. Information we collect

Account information: Snugdoro creates an anonymous Supabase account when you first use the app. If you choose to link an account, we may process your Apple, Google, or email/password account information, including your email address and authentication identifiers.
Pet information: pet name, uploaded pet photographs, generated artwork, and information inferred from a pet photograph such as animal type, breed, size, and age group.
Focus and app data: focus and break sessions, session timestamps, durations, completion status, and session presets.
Generation information: generation status and device identifier used to enforce pet-generation quotas.
Profile information: profile photographs if you choose to provide one.
Purchase information: purchase-related information processed through Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card details.

2. Pet photographs and AI processing

When you upload a pet photograph for an AI-generated companion, the photograph is uploaded to Snugdoro's Supabase storage and sent from our server-side processing environment to OpenAI for moderation, visual analysis, and image generation. Snugdoro uses OpenAI's moderation, vision, and image-generation services for these functions.

The OpenAI API credentials are stored server-side and are not included in the app. OpenAI processes information according to its applicable policies and terms. You can learn more from OpenAI's Privacy Policy and OpenAI's API privacy information.

3. Storage and retention

Pet photographs are currently stored in our Supabase pet-photos storage and are retained until they are deleted through a supported deletion process. Generated pet artwork is stored in our pet-art storage. Session, preset, pet, and generation records may also be stored in our database to provide the app's synchronization and quota features.

4. Third-party services

Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage.
OpenAI: photo moderation, pet analysis, and generation of pet artwork.
RevenueCat: purchase and entitlement management.
Apple: App Store distribution and in-app purchase processing.

5. Analytics and advertising

Snugdoro does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or behavioral tracking services. We do not use Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Segment, PostHog, Sentry, TelemetryDeck, or similar analytics SDKs.

6. Your choices

You can use Snugdoro without creating a traditional account. Optional sign-in lets you link your existing anonymous account to Apple, Google, or email/password credentials.

If you want your information deleted, contact cristopherdinoart@gmail.com. If the app provides an in-app account deletion function, use that function to initiate deletion.

7. Children's privacy

Snugdoro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. AI API credentials are kept server-side in Supabase secrets rather than inside the shipped application.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices change. The updated date at the top of this page will indicate when the policy was last revised.
